Therefore, the tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) has become the third largest automotive safety system following ABS and airbags.
As of 2014, China’s auto ownership should be around 150 million vehicles, and with the gradual increase in the introduction of relevant mandatory regulations, this market will rise sharply. Infineon's SP37 series from Dainichi Pinjia Agent is the third generation of the SP3x family, which has sold more than 200 million units worldwide since 2010. The SP37 is a tire pressure sensor chip with a frequency range of 300 to 450 MHz. It integrates an internal sensor, single-chip microcomputer, and an RF transmit unit. The maximum output power is +8 dBm (50 Ω load), and the minimum operating voltage is 1.9 V. Its internal circuits include power filter circuits, crystal oscillator circuits, and antenna matching circuits.
